Rick Jeffreys is Florida’s Premier One-man Show. During his act you will see him perform music from Big Band, 50’s, classic rock, party music, contemporary jazz, reggae, calypso, salsa, and Top 40. He plays eight instruments on stage and has a unique sense of showmanship hard to find today.
Rick’s professional career began in the mid 60’s, playing in local southeastern Pennsylvania rock bands. Recording with several well-known soul groups from Philadelphia, he also played many summer seasons at the Jersey shore. Later he began traveling with the internationally known show group, CATCH FIVE. Each member of that ensemble played a variety of instruments and all but Rick were music graduates of West Chester State University in Pennsylvania.
In the 80’s, he began his solo career on acoustic guitar and eventually got heavily involved in synthesizers, electronics and studio work. His current solo act consists of tracks he created from scratch that are his own arrangements plus his live performance on guitar, saxes and brass.
Throughout Rick’s career he has performed with many well known recording artists and performers. He has done national and local television and radio shows all over the U. S., Canada and Caribbean Islands and is committed to giving you a great show.
